2.14. SDF Timing.

• An SDF file can be very large when netlist is large.
• GOF doesn't load the SDF file directly, instead it creates an SDF index file first.
• Next time launch GOF and the SDF file doesn't change, just load in the SDF index file is enough.
• The SDF index file can be created once and shared between different users.
• GofViewer->Actions->'Create SDF Index File'

• Select the SDF file will be indexed.

• Input SDF index file name, extension .sif

• 'Loading status' window pops up to show the progress of SDF indexing process. Be patient, if SDF is hugh.

• After indexing is done, or the index file is loaded, in GofTrace select a cell.
• Mouse-middle-click to pop up menu, select 'Cell SDF timing'

• 'SDF info' window gives the delay number of the cell.

• Select a connection, Mouse-middle-click to pop up menu, select 'Connection SDF timing'

• 'SDF interconnect info' window pops up to show the interconnection delay.

•   If the SDF file is indexed or index file is not loaded yet. Error info will appear
