How to get Ethernet MAC Address?

On Windows XP

Get a DOS prompt, run "ipconfig -all". Find the line with information as

"Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-A0-CC-DE-26-CB"

00-A0-CC-DE-26-CB is your windows machine's Ethernet MAC Address.

On Linux System

In Xterm window, run "ifoncig". Find the line with information as

"HWaddr 00:0E:0C:17:E7:48"

00:0E:0C:07:D7:48 is your linux machine's Ethernet MAC Address

From GOF popup window

If you don't have GOF license purchased, GOF will pop up a window with line

"Your Mac Address: 00a0ccde26cb"

00a0ccde26cb is your machine's Ethernet MAC Address

Note: All the three formats are valid in filling the MAC Addres in license purchase form.
