How to get Ethernet MAC Address?
| On Windows XP |
| Get a DOS prompt, run "ipconfig -all". Find the line with information as |
| "Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-A0-CC-DE-26-CB" |
| 00-A0-CC-DE-26-CB is your windows machine's Ethernet MAC Address. |
| On Linux System |
| In Xterm window, run "ifoncig". Find the line with information as |
| "HWaddr 00:0E:0C:17:E7:48" |
| 00:0E:0C:07:D7:48 is your linux machine's Ethernet MAC Address |
| From GOF popup window |
| If you don't have GOF license purchased, GOF will pop up a window with line |
| "Your Mac Address: 00a0ccde26cb" |
| 00a0ccde26cb is your machine's Ethernet MAC Address |
| Note: All the three formats are valid in filling the MAC Addres in license purchase form. |
