1.19. Diff Utility

• GOF has specialized diff utility for netlist files.
• Select Actions->Do Diff.

• Diff console pops up for two text files input and other options.
• Select 'Netlist Mode' in this case. Click 'RunDiff' button.

• The difference of two netlist files are list below. Side by side.
• The diff is instance by instance, not line by line.

• If de-select 'Netlist Mode', the diff will be in line by line mode.

• The following is general text files diff.

• Click on the diff state color bar, the window will jump to the diff location.
